Viral is a quarterly print magazine that focuses on exploring innovative viral trends that emerge in art and culture, and how these trends reflect and shape our world. It is aimed at individuals looking for fresh perspectives and innovative approaches to creative expression. The magazine aims to showcase artists, as well as explore things that currently shape contemporary art. This issue focuses on trends that were born out of the frustration that came with lockdowns. One example of this is the 'Still Here Still Life' viral art challenge, which emerged during the first quarantine period, it served as a way for people to stay inspired and connected during a time of isolation and uncertainty by creating still-life artwork using materials found in one's immediate surroundings. This trend quickly gained momentum and spread across social media platforms, with many artists and amateurs participating and sharing their creations. In addition, this edition explores other similar trends that emerged during the pandemic, such as the rise of virtual events and experiences, the increased focus on mental health and self-care, and the use of digital mediums to connect and collaborate with others.
