AIGA50 is committed to improving accessibility and inclusion efforts each year. We recognize this is a journey and we are still far from our ideal.
Provide transparency on our efforts
List accommodations we can and cannot provide
Provide contact information to request any accommodations that may have been missed or undocumented
Encourage feedback from the community to suggest how we can be more inclusive in the future.
Our ongoing accessibility effort works towards conforming to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) version 2.1, level AA criteria, which includes meaningful alt text and understandable heading structures. These guidelines not only help make web content accessible to users with sensory, cognitive and mobility disabilities, but ultimately to all users, regardless of ability. We can’t cover everything as a small team of volunteers, so if you see something wrong please let us know at aiga50@dc.aiga.org.
We recognize that our website, submission platform, and event may not completely accessible by default. If you need an accommodation, please email our accessibility team at accessibility@dc.aiga.org.
We honor your privacy. No identifying information like your name is required to request an accommodation, and all details will be deleted once completed.
